Au 19e siĂšcle, l'Islande s’opposant au Danemark,souhaite son indĂ©pendance. Le costume national, le Peysuföt, a une signification importante. Deux nouvelles versions ont Ă©tĂ© dessinĂ©es par le peintre Guðmundsson, le Kyrtill et le SkautbĂșningur,puis le Upphlutur qui vient du nom du corselet portĂ© comme sous-vĂȘtement au 18e siĂšcle. In the 19th century, Iceland opposing Denmark, wanted its independence. The national costume,Peysuföt, had a growing significance. Two new versions were designed by a painter Guðmundsson, the Kyrtill and the SkautbĂșningur,then the Upphlutur derived from a garment bodice worn in the 18th century. Height: 10 cm. Origin: second-hand.
